The Gains Brought by INTERCHARM KOREA 2026

Background of the Exhibition

In the crisp, mild early days of July, fresh off our successful participation in COSMOPROF CBE ASEAN 2026, XINDE headed straight for another top-tier international beauty expo: interCHARM Korea 2026. As South Korea’s largest and most influential professional beauty and cosmetics exhibition, interCHARM Korea brings together local skincare and makeup brands, offline retail chain buyers, OEM/ODM manufacturers, and global packaging suppliers. It serves as a core platform for tapping into genuine demand in the K-beauty market and connecting with high-quality local procurement partners. Our three core objectives for this Korean exhibition are: to study the successful global expansion journey of K-beauty and draw actionable experience, fully explore the fast-growing domestic Korean beauty market plus overseas K-beauty export sector, and solidify long-term partnerships with established local brand clients. In this blog, we will share our full on-site gains, bustling booth traffic, brand-new packaging lines tailored to Korean beauty aesthetics, and XINDE’s forward-looking outlook for the Korean cosmetic packaging industry.

Introduction to Our Booth

Our booth adopted a refined minimalist Korean-style design, centered around our signature brand blue plus vibrant orange as the primary visual tone. The clean, soft display layout aligns perfectly with mainstream Korean brand aesthetics, clearly communicating XINDE’s consistent core principles to all visiting buyers: innovation, safety, stability, and reliability. We fully showcased our standardized in-house production workshops and comprehensive custom packaging capabilities throughout the space. Over the entire exhibition run, our booth maintained steady heavy foot traffic, welcoming beauty industry practitioners from Seoul, Busan, Incheon, and cities across the globe. Before the show, we sent exclusive personalized invitations to our existing Korean clients and high-intent prospects, achieving a 75% attendance rate for invited buyers who visited our booth. Beyond scheduled appointments, numerous founders and purchasing managers of independent Korean skincare & makeup brands dropped by unannounced to inquire about custom packaging and bulk order cooperation. Our visitors fell into two categories: local packaging peers who came to exchange surface process and custom mold development expertise, and brand buyers with stores at Olive Young and cross-border online shops, who held in-depth consultations around packaging upgrades and new product launches. We secured more than 20 qualified high-intent leads on average each day. Most buyers spent extensive time discussing packaging materials, surface treatments, minimum order quantities, mold lead times, and quality inspection standards. Six high-potential clients booked online virtual factory tours immediately after the expo, and we will send complete physical sample sets for material and appearance testing afterward. During conversations, many long-term Korean partners visited our booth to meet our team and brought exquisite local specialty gifts as tokens of appreciation. This heartfelt recognition reinforced our resolve to invest deeply in Korea’s cosmetic packaging market. We also seized this opportunity to strengthen strategic long-term cooperation with local brands such as OOTD Beauty, developing exclusive custom packaging solutions for their upcoming new product ranges and laying a solid foundation for stable bulk supply partnerships moving forward.

New Product Line

We brought a complete lineup of evergreen bestsellers and newly upgraded innovative packaging to match the aesthetic and functional demands of mainstream Korean beauty brands. Our consistent top-selling items, including spray bottles, multi-size cream jars and facial cleanser tubes, have earned wide recognition among Korean buyers thanks to stable quality and minimalist designs that fit Korean design preferences. We also debuted a series of cutting-edge packaging aligned with current Korean market trends: heavy-wall bottles with premium texture and uniquely shaped custom bottles that satisfy Korean brands’ pursuit of differentiation and added product value. Catering to high market demand for premium serums and salon-grade skincare, we launched functional airless bottles and dual-chamber bottles that resolve common pain points of poor sealing and weak barrier performance found in conventional packaging—these quickly became the most popular exhibits on site. We also displayed physical samples of screen printing, hot stamping, electroplating, and matte finishing treatments, allowing clients to visually compare textures and build fully customized packaging schemes matching their brand identity.

XINDE’s Insight into the South Korean Market

Face-to-face discussions with frontline Korean brand buyers and ongoing exchanges with industry peers granted us access to real-time, precise insights into the K-beauty market. South Korea is a global trend leader in the beauty industry, with a mature market featuring steady growth and ultra-fast brand iteration cycles. It hosts a massive young consumer base with extremely high standards for skincare & makeup aesthetics, user experience, and eco-friendly formulations, while the worldwide boom in K-beauty exports has generated surging overseas procurement demand. Coupled with Korea’s distinct four seasons—hot, humid summers and dry, cold winters—the market for segmented functional skincare products keeps expanding rapidly. Benefiting from the sustained growth of Korean professional skincare clinic brands, the demand for clinic-grade packaging such as ampoule bottles, dropper bottles, and syringe-style packaging has also risen substantially. A “Less is More” skincare philosophy prevails among Korean youth, who avoid layering 4–5 heavy skincare items and instead favor just 2–3 lightweight multi-effect products such as SPF-infused toners and hydrating, moisturizing serums. In cosmetics, lip glosses, eyeshadows and liquid foundations remain enduring bestsellers, with blushes and highlighters seeing rapid year-on-year growth. Sustainability is another non-negotiable priority for Korean consumers, who actively opt for recyclable packaging and reject excessive over-packaging to support environmental protection. One often-overlooked high-growth segment is men’s skincare & makeup: Korean men rank among the world’s most appearance-conscious male consumers, and global K-pop male idols have catalyzed a worldwide surge in men’s grooming demand. A 2022 industry study revealed that 76.3% of Korean men aged 20–30 prioritize men-exclusive skincare products when making purchases (Cho & Park, 2022).

Future Outlook

Our participation in interCHARM Korea was an extremely rewarding market development trip, yielding abundant high-quality local leads and sharp visibility into the latest cosmetic packaging trends and core buyer pain points across South Korea. Moving forward, XINDE will continue to deepen its footprint in the K-beauty packaging space. We will continuously refine product lines tailored to Korean design tastes and local regulatory standards, while expanding our portfolio of PCR eco-friendly packaging, fashion minimalist containers, and multi-functional packaging to deliver one-stop custom cosmetic packaging solutions for Korean skincare and makeup brands. We eagerly look forward to reconnecting with all industry partners at the next interCHARM Korea.
